Abstract:
The study’s objectives are to identify challenges that school face in managing, improve performance and efficiency in handling documents and exit management, and develop a collaborative management system. After realizing that previously there was no system to manage document, grades, registration according to the respective departments they needed to attend, the Smart management information service ended up with a lack of important and exact information of the school. The methodology used includes primary and secondary data collection, Documentation and observation. In addition, several technologies were also used to develop the system, such as Bootstrap used as front-end language, Java used as back end language, and the use of multiple database management systems like PostgreSQL, and DB. Furthermore, the research design and implementation of the prototype of Smart Management Information System allow the system admin to generate a report about the school/Student checked-in and checked-out effectively. This research contributes to the development and implementation of a Smart Management Information System which improves management and security of students by collecting information allowing for easier interaction with humans. During the production phase of the Smart Management Information System this system will be integrated with the Student MIS for fetching essential personal information such as names, Grades, Registration and Finance. The service provides an effective way for administrators to view the dashboard, a graphical user interface because the system also has a phone component that allows them to integrate the system into their smartphones.
