dc.description.abstract This research examines the impact of women’s participation in political careers on promoting gender equality in Liberia, from 2014 -2024. Regardless of the historical and cultural barriers, increasing female representation in political has surfaced as a critical factor in advancing gender equality and influencing policy decision. Through qualitative analysis on political engagement interview and questionnaires was send to female leaders and case studies of legislative initiative, this research highlights the transformative role of women in shaping public decision and fostering inclusive governance. Finding indicate that women politicians not only advocate for gender sensitive policies but also serve as a role model encouraging broader societal change. The study underscores the necessity of supporting women’s political empowerment as a means to achieve sustainable development and social justice in Liberia. en_US
