dc.description.abstract This Thesis entitled “ The impact of digital technologies in inclusive development, a case of RRA intended to achieve four objectives which were to establish the factors that influence the use of digital technology for inclusive development in Rwanda Revenue Authority, to determine the Correlations between communication technologies and inclusive development in Rwanda Revenue Authority, to find out the challenges met by the population while using digital technology in Rwanda Revenue Authority, and to set strategies that can help the population to address the challenges encountered by use digital technology in Rwanda Revenue Authority. In order to obtain their outcomes, techniques of data collection such as questionnaires, interview and documentation were designed and employed to collect information from 100 participants to the study; they were drawn from a population of 17,821 tax payers and 35 staffs from Rwanda Revenue Authority in City of Kigali. The sample size of 100 (100 from tax payers and 35 from staff of RRA) was determined by using the formula of Yamane (1967). Data collected were analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The key findings were, revealed that clients file tax from home by use of desk top either from home or office by use of internet. Clients check tax statement by use of desk top either from home or office. Also, on the relationship between communication technologies and inclusive development in RRA, the results revealed that digital technology in RRA has made clients pay tax in time but they are challenged because lack change management strategy, complex software and technology with the mean of 4.3224 and the standard deviation of δ>0.5, driving adoption of new tools and processes. This is 15 why the researcher recommended to conduct a research on the effects of network reliability on Digital Technology Management. en_US
