The study is about the impact of women education in improving family living conditions in South Sudan. A case of Juba City. Period: 2021-2023.Specifically this study determined the contribution of women education in family development of South Sudan, indicated the challenges that face educated women in their family development and gave out the suggestions at the end regarding the problem found. Moreover the research methodology has been used in the study in order to get the necessary data and information for the analysis and eventual discussion of the findings. Various methods and techniques have been used such as: analytical method, statistical and historical method. Techniques used were documentary, interview and questionnaires Technique. Regarding the contribution of women education in family development of South Sudan, results shows that the majority of respondents with 56.0% strongly agreed that Girls education is the backbone of the family development and 44.0% agreed with this. On the other side results indicate that almost all respondents with 80% strongly agreed that Educating Girls is the boost to employment opportunity among South Sudanese families and 20% agreed with this statement. On the issues of challenges to Women and Girls education in South Soudan, researchers revealed that there is a number of changes where almost all respondents with 95% strongly agreed that Unfavorable sociocultural attitudes and practices prevent women and girls from being enrolled in South Sudan and 5% agreed with this. Also the majority of respondents with .56% agreed that South Soudan community believe that there is no reason to invest in Girls education and 34% agreed with this statement. On the other side 40% of the total respondents strongly agreed that Low Child-Friendly School (CFS) Standards is another challenge to female education in South Sudan and 60% agreed with this statement. Therefore, through this researchers confirmed that the Hypothesis stipulating that “Educated women contribute in using/participating in water and sanitation, health care, employment, inheritance, finance, income-generating, health services, nutrition, and agriculture to the family development in South Sudan juba city”. To ensure more women education inclusiveness in South Sudan , the government is recommended to reinforcing social Sensitization and Mobilization of Communities to Send Girls to School and emphasizing on gender-sensitive curriculum reform, inclusive education, life skills and peace education |
