Abstract

The research purpose of this study was to investigate the ̳ ̳Impact of Oil Exploitation on Food Security, case study of Beintui South Sudan, period: 2020 – 2023‘‘is This research was driven by the statement stated that the Food insecurity in South Sudan is a crucial issue that is politicised and intertwined with instability, climate issues, and violence, ultimately leading to serious humanitarian disasters. A vicious cycle of displacement, food insecurity, and more instability has been sustained by the ongoing political unrest, bloodshed, and fighting in South Sudan, which has seriously impacted agricultural output and delivery networks. The primary economic activity in South Sudan, agriculture, has historically performed poorly due to many civil wars, which have led to poverty, sluggish economic growth, and an inability to achieve development objectives.
