Abstract:
Employees provides basis for an organization to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Since organizations are operating in a dynamic and competitive business environment, they need to develop strategies to acquire and retain the competent workforce. Human asset is considered to be the most important asset of any organization and in order to get the efficient and effective result from Employees, Employees is necessary (Zaman, 2011).
This Topic Entitled Employees Management and Performance of Local Government Institutions in Rwanda. Case Study of Rubavu District 2021-2023. This research aimed to achieve the following specific objectives:
To deeply analyze the Employees management practices in Rubavu District, to assess how Employees management affects the performance in Rubavu District.
According to the study, despite the staff being allowed to participate in the developing of their goals and even most of them having an understanding about the significance of these goals on the overall’ objectives, the goals are not explained enough. Challenging goals would be better at improving the motivation of the workers and thus improving their performance. Depending on the findings that Rubavu District did not satisfy the economic requirements of the workers through salaries. This research would therefore recommend a reevaluation of the salaries because workers relate finances to the worth placed over them by the institution. A higher salary will mean they feel more worthy thus improving their performance. Since the recognition and reward systems in the Rubavu District is inadequate as of now, this study would recommend that Rubavu District consult with the workers on the best way to make the existing systems more equitable for all so that the motivation of the workers may increase leading to improved performance.
